Investoren) auszukommen und das Startup langsam in die Profitabilität zu führen. Man probiert Ausgaben so gut es geht zu vermeiden, möglichst keine weiteren Personen anzustellen und auch Produktentwicklung und Marketing auf kostengünstige Weise zu erledigen. Oftmals arbeiten die Gründer zu Beginn nebenbei noch in anderen Jobs, die ihnen die Miete bezahlen, bevor sie es sich leisten können, sich aus Umsätzen des eigenen Startups zu bezahlen.
